We are looking for a (Senior) Software DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for our branch office in Ulm.

Job description:

  • You will develop modern Continuous Deployment Chains using state of the art practices with quick response times and early defect detection
  • You will automate and optimize processes, using tools like Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Artifactory, etc.
  • You will create reusable and scalable infrastructure using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible
  • You will design and implement tools to monitor and update CI environments for multiple projects automatically

Required Know-How / Experience:

  • You hold a university degree in computer sciences, electronics, telecommunications or similar.
  • You have experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery.
  • You know the approach of Infrastructure as code well and have some practical experience.
  • Tools like Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible are well known to you; SonarQube is an advantage
  • In addition, you have in-depth experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash and Groovy with good understanding of OOP implementation.
  • You have and interest and initial experience with Kubernetes, Load balancing, virtualization, cloud and other container technologies
  • Ideally you have advanced knowledge in NFS version 4 and Kerberos
  • Preferably, you have experience with automotive technologies and processes (e.g. Automotive SPICE)
  • You enjoy working in an agile and international team.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills in English and ideally in German language are very good.

Basic assignment conditions:

Place of execution is at our Branch Office in Ulm.
Hourly rate shall be calculated at a maximum of 88,00 EUR (based on 40 h/week).
The timeline for the assignment is planned for 13 months.
Hard- and Software will be provided by EB.
